Coach Training in Canada

For the rifle, pistol and shotgun shooting disciplines in Canada coach training and certification is controlled by The Shooting Federation of Canada (SFC). These programs meet the National Coach Certification Program (NCCP) requirements. The basis the development of all training is the NCCP Model for national coach certification. Coach training for target shooting is comprised of a combination of sport specific training, led by trained facilitators and multisport training offered through the Coaching Association of Canada.

The BCTSA has trained instructors available to give you the necessary NCCP certified courses so that you can meet your goals as a coach and support your athletes. You can find out about upcoming training opportunities on our Events page.
