Athlete Support Programs

The BCTSA provides funding to select athletes that have demonstrated a high potential and the drive to train and compete at the national or international level. There are two programs, the Athlete Assistance Program (AAP) and the High Performance Athlete program (HPA). Both programs are designed to assist athletes with some of the costs of training, traveling and competing.

2019 Program - CLOSED

For 2019 the AAP and HPA have a combined application and evaluation process. This is designed to simplify the administration of the programs and provide athletes with the information they need to plan and budget their training year. Application information can be found in the AAP-HPA Application Information package. Athletes also must submit all their supporting documents as listed on the application including a signed Code of Conduct

and proof of membership in BCTSA ( print a copy of your membership card from your personal details).

Please note: all application criteria and timelines will be strictly enforced. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Make sure to include all the required materials with your application in the correct format and file types as applicable.
